3D V-Stitch Autumn crochet Blanket pattern

The 3D V-stitch crochet blanket is a stunning project that combines texture, warmth, and visual appeal. Its unique stitch pattern creates a plush, dimensional effect, making it a perfect addition to any home. This tutorial will guide you through creating your own 3D V-stitch crochet blanket. Its thick, squishy texture makes it ideal for snuggling, while the beautiful stitch pattern showcases your skills.

Design

The 3D V-stitch creates a rhythmic, textured pattern that looks intricate but is surprisingly easy to learn. The stitch uses basic techniques—chains, double crochet, and front post double crochet stitches to form a dimensional “V” shape that pops off the fabric. It’s versatile, works up quickly, and adds a pop of texture to the crochet blanket.

Materials

For the 3D V-Stitch Autumn Blanket, I used Big Twist Value Yarn in Cream, Mustard, Sage, and Rust but for this blanket you can use any #4 worsted weight yarn. I wanted to use colors that represented a Fall feel. I also used a size I (5.5mm) hook which worked well with the stitch and yarn combination.
